Hudson Hot Air Affair

The Hudson Hot Air Affair is the premier winter ballooning event and winter festival in the Midwest. Thousands of visitors head to the St. Croix Valley in west central Wisconsin on the first full weekend in February.

 

FLIGHT CONDITIONS

Ideal conditions:
–Light winds less than 6     mph
–Good visibility
–Sunshine or if cloudy,
     high cloud ceilings

Unfavorable conditions:
–Too strong wind, over
     8 mph OR no wind at all
–Poor visibility or
     low cloud ceilings
–Snow or rain

From WI - 94 West, Exit 2, North, West on Frontage Road, Right at 4-way stop, Right on Summer St to EP Rock School.
