A Silent Auction and Benefit Jazz Concert will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 2nd, at the Faith Community Church in Hudson to raise money for St. Anna’s Medical Mission in New Orleans www.stannanola.org/medical.htm

In 2005, Hurricane Katrina caused massive flooding. St Anna’s Episcopal Church took a used RV and converted it to a traveling medical unit to provide wellness, medical services and spiritual guidance throughout the New Orleans community. Today, this medical unit includes doctors, nurses and social workers who volunteer their services to patients free of charge in neighborhoods that have repopulated with poor and working class residents who are still either uninsured or under-insured.

In keeping with the 2008 Hot Air Affair theme, “Mardi Gras… Balloons & All That Jazz,” the committee has partnered with St. Anna’s Episcopal Church and requests your silent auction donation. Would you consider donating an item, gift card or service from your business? ALL funds collected from your silent auction donations will directly benefit St. Anna’s Episcopal Church Medical Mission.
